BRUNY ISLAND LONG WEEKEND

Bruny Island is a gorgeous place to escape to with a tent! There's something special about camping on an island off an island. In just a short 35-40 minute drive from Hobart you can catch the ferry at Kettering. You'll really feel like you're away from it all. There are various options for camping on Bruny, including Cloudy Bay, Jetty Beach and The Neck Reserve. Once on the island there are some fantastic walks including the Fluted Capes walk in the south (South Bruny is more mountainous) and lots of tasty treats to sample including Bruny Island cheese, freshly shucked oysters, berries and so much more.
