Rochford Hall (circa 1878) is a national-award-winning Australian olive oil producer with a unique timber accommodation abode called Villa Rochford. The villa is set amongst a 500-tree olive grove and has wonderful expansive views over rich farming lands. It’s just 40 minutes from Hobart and Port Arthur, as well as the gateway to the east coast. The villa, one of the few 4+ star accommodation options in the south-east, would make an excellent base for your southern Tasmania travels, or alternatively just plonk yourself down and soak up the atmosphere, tranquility, space, birds, stars, sun, and re-energise. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom 130m2 villa is the only one on the site. Guests of the villa receive exclusive use of a picnic site at neighbouring Bream Creek Vineyard, which overlooks the magnificent Marion Bay and east coast.
This is a truly wonderful enterprise, providing a wide variety of local produce, wines and condiments, not to mention the award-winning EVOO and Cape Grim Angus Beef grown on the owner’s neighbouring property. Treat yourself to a relaxing stay away and enjoy the privacy of a spacious and unique experience. WEB: www.rochfordhall.com.au |
