Wild Pedder is an award-winning four-day wilderness experience like no other. The local guides live and breathe Tasmania and will take you into the heart of one of the most unoccupied wildernesses on Earth – Southwest Tasmania.
Based out of the comfortable Pedder Wilderness Lodge, the adventure is four days and three nights in length, departing from and returning to Hobart. It features day-pack bushwalking within the incredible Mount Field National Park, along the rugged Anne Range, through the massive forests of the Florentine Valley, and kayaking on majestic Lake Pedder. The Pedder Experience is designed to give the intrepid traveller a taste of all that Southwest Tasmania has to offer. It is home to jagged mountain peaks strewn with endemic flora, magnificent temperate rainforests lined with myriad mosses, fungi and ferns, and some of the tallest hardwood trees on Earth. Evenings are spent together in a private dining area with a crackling fireplace, and guests rest easy in the best Lake View rooms. Wild Pedder has a bespoke menu, designed around the best Tasmanian produce and wines. Find them on the Web or call 0456 869 029 |
