Gold Bar serves up Tasmania’s best and brightest spirits, shakes up made-to-order cocktails, and creates a wonderfully-personal experience in intimate and comfortable surrounds. They also have an exciting selection of local beers and wines and gins and whiskies from the mainland.

If you enjoy gin whisky, or any local spirit, then Gold Bar has a plush red seat for you. The collection is extensive, with a bottle from every Tasmanian distillery gracing the shelf and a rotating collection of some of the best interstate offerings.

Gold Bar also serves quality coffee and comfort food during weekdays, and bottle sales are available from the bar. You’ll find them up the old bricklaid carriage way, through the double doors at its end and across the courtyard towards the red and golden glow.
