Norman & Dann is heavenly for chocolate lovers. But it’s so much more than a chocolate shop. Indeed, Norman & Dann is so inviting that when the current owners saw a for-sale sign on the store during a holiday from Brisbane they took it as a literal sign to move to Tassie! The sweet ride had Emily and Joshua take the helm of this iconic Salamanca store with son Finn in tow, to begin their new island life.
For more than two decades, Norman & Dann has been a well-loved store in the historic Salamanca precinct. They specialise in fine handmade chocolates but there’s also a bounty of quality gifts and homewares. It’s a feast for the senses, from the sweet scents of fine Belgian couverture chocolate to the rich colours of delicate teapots and homewares sourced from around the world. With a large range of premium teas and freshly roasted coffee, Norman & Dann is all about indulgence and the finer treats in life. Whether it’s a gorgeously crafted chocolate penguin, wombat or Tassie devil (the most popular!) or something from the growing range of Tasmanian offerings, there’s good reason folk are drawn through the door. Not near Salamanca? Don’t worry. Emily and Joshua have a growing range of delectable chocolates and wares available by phone order. 6/33 Salamanca Place, Hobart normananddann.com (03) 6223 4777 [email protected] Monday – Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm |
