CAPTAIN BLIGH’S BREWERY AND DISTILLERY
A small, family-owned and operated business in a beautiful historic brewery building, Captain Bligh’s makes a wide range of beers, artisan spirits (including whisky, rum and liqueurs) and a variety of popular mixed drinks. While they make all kinds of beers, from delicious red ales to IPAs, lagers and fabulous session drinks, their speciality is rich, strong barrel-aged beers. Everything is made, bottled or canned, and labelled on site. Products are sold at the vibrant Salamanca Market each Saturday by the owners’ son Adam, who’s also the distiller. In addition, the brewery doors open to the public on the third Friday of each month. There, in what’s been described as Hobart’s best-kept secret, you can relax and enjoy a drink in a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, meet the brewers, listen to live music and treat yourself to local food. FRANK'S CIDER HOUSE AND CAFE
Frank’s Cider House and Café is located in the historic town of Franklin (five minutes south of Huonville). It is part of the Tasmanian Cider Trail, and open seven days a week. The 1870s former St Johns Church Hall is now a cosy café which serves local gourmet produce and offers free cider tasting. Wander through the adjoining Jane Franklin Memorial Museum and Gallery, while you sip a cider and discover the fascinating history of the Huon Valley.

Harvest + Light is a rare blend of photographic gallery, small-batch picklery and wine bar. T-BONE BREWING CO.
Tom Bignell began brewing craft beer out of his father’s distillery at their family property “Belgrove” in Kempton. It didn’t take long before T-Bone Brewing Co. was conceived, and it now sits prominently on North Hobart’s main strip. At any one time there are up to 12 unique T-Bone brews on tap and a selection of Tasmanian cider, wine and spirits. There is a fridge stocked full of cans, so come and grab some takeaways to enjoy at home. Featuring live music amongst the tanks every Friday night, T-Bone Brewing Co. is a great place to enjoy a beer or two while sat right next to a brewery.
