Smitten Merino is a family business born in Hobart in 2007. Husband and wife team Nicola and Carl had a dream to design lightweight merino clothing that was stylish, comfortable and practical, and get it manufactured right here in Tasmania. They had arrived from WA and fell in love with the climate, the people, the whole island, and especially the sheep! Curious about where all the wonderful wool was going (they were cold and wanted to wear some) they decided to make it themselves, supporting their new local community in the process. Their unique brand gives visitors and locals alike a Tassie souvenir that they can wear for years to come. You’ll love Smitten as much as Nicola and Carl do.
