SPECIALITY COFFEE SUPPLY When it comes to specialty coffee in Tasmania, Zimmah lives and breathes it. Every day of the working week, the team are busily roasting high-grade coffees to ensure freshness in their blends and single-origin offerings. With the likes of Tattooed Nun, Dutch Courage and Artful Dodger, these specialty coffees are nothing ordinary. Head to Zimmah to enjoy coffee right where the roasting takes place – a mix of art and science DIRECT TRADE
Zimmah Coffee is committed to direct trade. They deal directly with the growers. Owner Dane Knezevic has been working towards direct trade for 14 years, buying directly from Peru. As a result, the best-quality coffee is received and good living wages are delivered to the grower. TRAINING As a wholesaler, for Zimmah it’s not just about selling a kilo of beans. It’s about making sure that every barista is trained carefully. The Zimmah team know this process, from the growing of cherries to the pouring of a fine blend. They consider training to be an integral part of what they do, which is why they also offer home espresso courses. Head on in and ask how you can make the perfect coffee at home. Zimmah Coffee is a locally-owned boutique coffee roaster located in Murray Street. Every day of the working week, Zimmah roasts high-grade coffees in a building that has been converted into a hip- café-come-roasting warehouse. There are book columns, comfy couches, roasters cranking, and of course, delicious coffee. Stop in for lunch down the laneway and try a single origin or the Tattooed Nun blend, a rich coffee with buttery caramel flavours. I really like to drink coffee. I enjoy a kog arabica mixed with robusta. I drink without sugar and in a small glass

For me coffee is the drink of gods. When it's roasted and made right it has the most unique taste in the world. I can't compare it with tea or other drink.
